One dies in migrants' brawl at St. Petersburg Sennoy market

ST. PETERSBURG. April 11 (Interfax) - St. Petersburg police are probing a fight between CIS labor migrants that happened at the Sennoy market on Thursday morning.

About 20 men clashed near 4, Moskovsky Avenue, at about 7:30 a.m., the St. Petersburg and Leningrad region police department said in a tentative report.

"One fighter was stabbed with a knife and died instantly," the report said.

The department chiefs sent about 200 OMON, patrolmen and criminal police detectives to the incident scene.
