Banker detained in Moscow suspected of embezzling over 300 mln rubles
MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Officers of the Russian Interior Affairs Ministry have detained Vsevolod Glukhovtsev, vice president of a foreign bank, which is among the top five world banks, on suspicion of large-scale embezzlement, the press office of the main department of the Central Federal District (CFD) Interior Affairs Ministry told Interfax.
"Employees of the main department of the Russian Interior Affairs Ministry of the CFD have detained the vice president of a foreign bank, which is among the top five world banks. Vsevolod Glukhovtsev is suspected of especially large-scale embezzlement amounting to over 300 million rubles from private and corporate customers under the pretence of investing money in property and construction in Montenegro," the press office said.
