Kazakhstan boosts oil production 2.5% in Q1, gas up 5.2%
ALMATY. April 12 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan produced 17.311 million tonnes of oil in the first quarter of 2013, 2.5% more than in the same period last year, the State Statistics Agency reported.
Gas condensate production rose 2.2% year-on-year to 3.271 million tonnes.
Kazakhstan also produced 10.875 bcm of natural gas in the period, 5.2% more, including 5.401 bcm in gaseous form (2.3% more), of which 2.925 bcm was saleable gas (6.4% more).
Production of associated petroleum gas rose 8.3% to 5.473 bcm.
