Foreign Ministry awaits consequences of Magnitsky list publication in U.S.

MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - The publication of the so-called Magnitsky list in the United States will complicate Russian-U.S. relations, a source with the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"This step would make another negative footprint on Russian-U.S. relations that have been developing with difficulties recently," the source said.

"The whole responsibility lies on the American side," the source said.

"The publication of the Magnitsky list would result in an similar step on the Russian side," he said.

"However, this is not our choice," the source said.
