MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - VTB will only revise its plans for developing its affiliate in Cyprus, Russian Commercial Bank, if the bank suffers a "serious" outflow of clients, VTB chief Andrei Kostin told journalists.

"If the client base departs, that would probably serve as grounds for a revision [of the Cypriot bank's development strategy]," he said.

However, he said, "Based on those laws that have already been approved, we do not see serious risks from the standpoint of losses."

Nonetheless, it is too early to make predictions about options for developing the Cyprus affiliate.
