One Russian Boston Marathon runner is out of reach
MOSCOW. April 16 (Sport-Express/Interfax) - Only one Russian runner of the Boston Marathon, Yuri Belyakov, has been unavailable so far, 42km.ru website head Nadezhda Kalacheva told Interfax on Tuesday.
"It is night already so the Kozmovs asked not to be disturbed and the Bogatyrevs are also asleep. A friend of Rafik Salimov said he was all right. So everyone is alive and in good health. We have found everyone but Yuri Belyakov," Kalacheva said.
Three Russian runners had not reached the finish line by the time the explosions occurred. Marathon organizers stopped Alexander Kozmov 200 meters before the finish line, and Natalia Kozmov was stopped 800 meters away. They were told the intermediate results, 04:16.23 and 04:11.06 correspondingly, at the 40-kilometer point.
Belyakov was running ahead of them, he was ahead of the Kozmov couple by nine and four minutes respectively.
