Russia's chief rabbi pays homage to Boston bombing victims

MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - Russia's chief rabbi, Berel Lazar, laid flowers to the building of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow on Tuesday in commemoration of the victims of the Boston terror attack.

Berel Lazar also met with U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul to convey his condolences, Lazar's press service told Interfax.

"We always express solidarity to victims of terror attacks and we share the American people's grief today," the rabbi said.

He said the masterminds and terrorists will get the punishment they deserve, "so no one will dare to shed the blood of innocent people."
