"Price wars" in state defense orders should stop - Medvedev

MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has threatened officials of all levels with personal responsibility in the case of continuation of "price wars" in state defense procurement.

"We should stop "price wars" between state clients and state defense order executors. There is money, so it is time to stop the squabble," Medvedev said while presenting a report on the government performance in 2012 to the State Duma.

"Heads of all enterprises must bear personal responsibility," the prime minister emphasized. "Not only administrative or criminal. In my opinion, it is much more important to make enterprises financially liable."
