Azerbaijan reduces oil exports 8.4% in Q1
BAKU. April 18 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan reduced oil exports by 8.4% year-on-year to 8.502 million tonnes in Q1 2013, the State Customs Committee told Interfax.
The country exported 6.783 million tonnes of oil through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, 1.081 million tonnes through the Baku-Supsa pipeline, 409,329 tonnes through the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline and 229,007 tonnes by railway to Georgian ports.
Declared oil shipped for export totaled 6.245 million tonnes, worth $4.281 billion, the committee reported.
Azerbaijan exported 411,996 tonnes of petroleum exports for $319.464 million in Q1 2013.
In 2012, Azerbaijan exported 6.7% less oil at 34.936 million tonnes. Petroleum product exports dropped 18.7% to 1.614 million, worth $1.321 billion.
