Putin terminates meeting on economy to have telephone call with Nazarbayev

SOCHI. April 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed issues of bilateral relations and Euro-Asian integration with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev on the telephone.

"The president has terminated the meeting to have a telephone call with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev," Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Putin is holding a Monday meeting on economic issues with the participation of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Presidential Administration Head Sergei Ivanov, ministers of the financial bloc and experts.

"The presidents have discussed the current issues of bilateral relations and also exchanged opinion on a wide range of problems of the Euro-Asian integration," Peskov said.
