Increasing internal borrowings would have no sense in 2013 - Siluanov
SOCHI. April 22 (Interfax) - Domestic borrowings should not be increased in 2013, said Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
"We don't think it would be worthwhile to increase domestic borrowings in 2013, since this may impact interest rates in the economy," Siluanov told reporters after a meeting on economic issues on Monday.
The plan for domestic borrowings has been set at 1.2 trillion rubles for 2013. More than 700 billion rubles is to be repaid, he said.
"We have 500 billion rubles in net borrowings," Siluanov said, adding that the prospect of increasing foreign borrowings had not been discussed.
