Joining Customs Union to bring considerable benefit to Kyrgyzstan - Medvedev

GORKI. April 23 (Interfax) - Russia welcomes and supports Kyrgyzstan's wish to join the Customs Union, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.

"We support the determination of the Kyrgyz Republic to join the Customs Union. This will bring considerable benefits to the republic's economy and certain enterprises," Medvedev said after a meeting with Kyrgyz Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev.

The Russian prime minister said that it was necessary to accomplish a lot prior to Kyrgyzstan's admission to the Customs Union - to sign 64 documents. "I hope that our Kyrgyz partners will work their way with our support and our assistance," Medvedev said.
