Pirates seize ship near E. Guinea, take hostages, including Russian, 2 Ukrainians - owner

BERLIN/KYIV. April 25 (Interfax) - Pirates attacked the Hansa Marburg container carrying ship near Equatorial Guinea and took hostage four crewmembers, Leonhardt ans Blumberg, the company owning the ship and based in Hamburg, reported on Thursday.

The hostages are a citizen of Russia, two Ukrainians, and one citizen of Kiribati, it said.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry told Interfax it was verifying the information. "The Foreign Ministry is verifying this information," ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis told Interfax.
