Glonass-M navigation satellite launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome
PLESETSK, Arkhangelsk region. April 26 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's Soyuz-2.1b rocket equipped with a Fregat upper stage and carrying a Glonass-M satellite has lifted off from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region, Russian Aerospace Defense Forces spokesman Col. Dmitry Zenin told Interfax-AVN.
"The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle carrying the Glonass-M satellite blasted off from Launch Pad No. 43 of the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. All systems are functioning normally," he said.
