Finance Ministry to submit 'unsensational' draft tax policy on April 30

MOSCOW. April 26 (Interfax) - The Russian Finance Ministry plans to submit to the government its draft of the main directions of tax policy in 2014 and the 2015-2016 planning period on April 30, Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Shatalov told journalists on Friday.

"We will submit it to the government on the 30th [of April]," he said.

It is a standard document, he said. "We describe our achievements and plans - there are a lot of them. But there is nothing sensational there," Shatalov said.

The document will not contain specific rates for excise taxes or natural resource extraction taxes, he said.
