Lukashenko wishes to build second nuclear power plant in Belarus

MINSK. April 30 (Interfax) - Belarus should build the second nuclear power plant upon availability of funds, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said.

"If there was a possibility to build the second nuclear power plant, I would have started building it for sure. But so far I have neither a general contractor nor money nor a country to grant a construction loan," Lukashenko told students and professors of the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University on Tuesday.
