Leaflets in support of surviving Boston bombing suspect appear in Kazakh city
KARAGANDA. May 4 (Interfax) - The police in Karaganda said they would bring administrative charges against individuals who stuck leaflets supporting Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to the walls of an underground passageway in the center of this Kazakh city.
The leaflets carried an English-language inscription, "Pray for Dzhokhar."
"If the individuals who stuck the leaflets to the walls are tracked down, administrative charges will be brought against them for damaging property. Sticking advertisements and other printed matter on the walls is an offence since this litters the city, according to the Code of Administrative Offences," a spokesman for the regional police department told Interfax.
Two bomb blasts at the finish line of the Boston marathon on April 15 killed three people, among tem a child aged eight, and injured more than 180.
The brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, aged 26 and 19, are the suspected bombers. Tamerlan was killed in a shooting spree with police. Dzhokhar was wounded and he is in hospital in serious condition.
