Polish gas monopoly again asks recruiters to find new president
MOSCOW. May 7 (Interfax) - The board of directors of Polish gas monopoly PGNiG, which dismissed Grazyna Piotrowska-Oliwa on Monday, has once again announced a competitive procedure to select members of the management board, including a new company president, PGNiG said in a press release.
Piotrowska-Oliwa, who worked at the company for slightly over a year and was also selected during an open competition, "lost trust" of the board in connection with the signing of a memorandum to build the Yamal-Europe 2 gas pipeline with Russian gas monopoly Gazprom .
"The Supervisory Board will be supported in the candidate selection procedure by the MMA Sp. z o.o. Sp. k advisory firm (AMROP), which specializes in the recruitment of senior management positions," the press release said.
The deadline for applications is May 21.
PGNiG is also looking for a new vice president of sales.
