Around 3 bln rubles to be allocated annually as presidential grants for art, culture in Russia
MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree establishing presidential grants for culture and art since 2013.
According to the decree posted on an official legal website, grant recipients will be determined by the Russian president upon the government's submission for three years. Grant recipients will be chosen upon a contest since 2016.
A total of almost 3 billion rubles a year will be allocated from the budget for the grants.
The decree has a note listing grant recipients for 2013-2015.
