Young people attack Tails in Moscow region - source
MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - A mass fight between Tajik men and local youths has occurred in Chekhov, Moscow region, a source in the law enforcement agencies told Interfax on Sunday evening.
Around 9:00 p.m., local youths attacked a group of men from the Central Asian republics, mainly Tajikistan, who were playing football on a field near the construction site where they worked, for no apparent reason, the source said.
Traumatic weapons were used in the fight, the source said.
Four men were hospitalized with shot wounds and one was injured by an unknown blunt object, the source said. All of the victims are men with origins in the Central Asian republics, the source said.
The police are taking measures to detain the people involved in the fight.
According to the Interior Ministry's Main Department for the Moscow region, three Central Asian men were wounded in the fight.
The police are now looking for the suspects, the press service reported.
