Rosaviatsia ready for astronauts' landing in Kazakhstan
MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax-AVN) - Rosaviatsia has amassed search-and-rescue and security forces in the area where the Soyuz TMA-07M module is supposed to land on May 14.
"Three planes (Antonov An-12 and An-26), twelve Mil Mi-8 helicopters and six evacuation vehicles are on standby in the anticipated landing zone to ensure the safe return of the Soyuz-07M module," says a report published on the Federal Air Transport Agency website on Monday.
The spaceship may touch down at 6:31 a.m. on May 14, 147 kilometers southeast of Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, the report said.
