Broad money supply in Belarus climbs 5.3% in Jan-April
MINSK. May 15 (Interfax) - Broad money supply in Belarus was the equivalent of 169.82 trillion Belarusian rubles on May 1 2013, up 5.3% in January-April, the National Bank of Belarus reported.
Money supply grew 1.5% in April, after an increase of 1.4% in March and 2.2% in February.
MO money supply, or cash in circulation, was 12.29 trillion Belarusian rubles, on May 1 2013, up 8.7% in the four months, including a 4.1% rise in April.
The official exchange rate on May 15 stood at 8,660 Bel. rubles/$1.
