Oil production in Kazakhstan rises 3.6% in 4M
ALMATY. May 15 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan extracted 23.111 million tonnes of crude oil and 4.063 million tonnes of gas condensate in January-April 2013, up 3.6% and 3.7% respectively compared with the same period of last year, the State Statistics Agency reported.
Kazakhstan produced 14.16 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas, up 3.7% year-on-year. That includes 6.772 bcm of natural gas in gaseous form (down 2.4%), which in turn includes 3.795 bcm of commercial gas (up 6%).
Associated petroleum gas output in January-April 2013 came to 7.388 bcm (up 10%).
