Second Makhachkala blast went off after police arrived - source
MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - A second bomb went off in Makhachkala on Monday and killed eight people after policemen arrived at the scene of the first explosion, a source in Dagestan's Interior Ministry told Interfax.
"No one was hurt when the first explosion was set off. A second blast went off and killed several people minutes later, after policemen arrived at the scene," the source said.
Immediate reports indicate that both bombs were remote controlled.
"The police have established that the first bomb was planted underneath a car," he said.
