Putin was kept updated on preparations for anti-terror op in Moscow - Peskov

SOCHI. May 20 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin was kept updated on the operation to neutralize the terrorists who had been plotting a terror attack in Moscow.

"President Vladimir Putin had been receiving reports from the Federal Security Service on preparations for the operation to detain the militants and also on its outcome," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the press on Monday.

The National Anti-Terrorism Committee's information center earlier reported that two militants were killed and one was detained while plotting to carry out a terror attack in Moscow.
