Movement towards visa-free Greater Europe could be faster - CoE's SG
MOSCOW. May 21 (Interfax) - Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland said he advocates the prospect of seeing Greater Europe without visas.
Building Greater Europe without visas must become a pan-European idea, he said. The faster Europe moves in this direction, the better, Jagland told the Duma committees for international affairs and constitutional legislation, when asked when visa-free travel will be introduced between Russia and the European Union.
This historic event will finally arrive and people in Europe will be able to travel all across Europe, he said.
