Russian civil shipbuilding market might be worth 2.3 trillion rubles by 2030 - minister
SOCHI. May 22 (Interfax) - The Russian civil shipbuilding market might contain 2,000 units by 2030 and, according to preliminary data, be valued at 2.3 trillion rubles, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told reporters.
Eighty percent of this market will be vessels used to export hydrocarbons from the Russian shelf, he said.
Russian state-owned OJSC United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) accounts for over half of civil shipbuilding in Russia.
