U.S., EU ambassadors visit Tymoshenko at Kharkiv hospital

KHARKIV. May 23 (Interfax) - Ambassadors of the United States John Tefft and of the European Union Jan Tombinski have visited ex-Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko at Kharkiv's Central Clinic #5, an Interfax correspondent reported.

Tymoshenko's supporters waved flags of her party and shouted 'Free Yulia!' when the diplomats were passing by.

Kharkiv region prosecutor Gennady Tyurin and oversight prosecutor Ihor Krasnolobov arrived to the hospital shortly after the ambassadors.

The U.S. and EU diplomats visited Tymoshenko last time in 2012.
