Kamaz could pay first dividend since 1992 at 0.69 rubles a share
MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax) - Directors at Kamaz are recommending that 10% of last year's net profit to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) be set aside for dividends, the truck maker said in a statement.
The company could pay 487.95 million rubles in total: net profit to RAS was just under 4.88 billion rubles for the year.
Kamaz has 707,229,559 issued ordinary shares, par value 50 rubles each, and it could pay 0.69 rubles a share.
Kamaz has not paid dividends since 1992.
Legal entities control 98.34% of Kamaz. They include Rostec (the former Russian Technologies) with 49.9%, Avtoinvest, Ltd. with 24.53%, Daimler AG with 11%, Kamaz International Management Co. with 4.2%, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with 4%, and Decodelement Services, Ltd. with 2.73%.
