Moscow says message exchange between Putin, Obama gave impetus to missile shield consultations
MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - The message exchange between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama has given impetus to the missile shield consultations, Moscow's envoy to NATO Alexander Grushko told reporters on Tuesday.
"Of course, the letter exchange has given impetus to the consultations on relevant levels between Russia and the United States," Grushko said.
"It would be inconsiderate to talk about what results could be achieved during these consultations," the official said.
