Irkutskenergo directors to reelect management board, appoint chief June 6
IRKUTSK. May 28 (Interfax) - The board of directors of steam coal company Irkutskenergo will decide on the numerical composition of the management board, discuss terminating the powers of the current management board and elect a new board on June 6, the company reported.
Irkutskenergo's website indicates that five people are currently seated on the management board: General Director Evgeniy Fyodorov (chairman), Deputy General Director for Energy Production and Chief Engineer Yevgeny Novikov, Deputy General Director for Asset Protection Sergey Shperling, Deputy General Director for Energy Resource Sales Oleg Prichko and Deputy General Director for Finance and Economics Evgeny Filsh.
In addition, the board of directors will discuss the appointment of a general director and confirm the terms of his labor contract. Fyodorov's current labor contract expires on June 10, 2013, and his previous two-year contract expired on June 9, 2012.
Irkutskenergo is Russia's largest steam coal company, which comprises heat and hydro-electric power plants, heat networks, open pit coal mines, transport businesses, repair plants and an enrichment plant. Its power plants have an installed capacity of 12.9 GW. Combined, its open pit coal mines have a production capacity of 15.3 million tonnes of coal a year.
Irkutskenergo is controlled by EuroSibEnergo. Also, 40.007% of its shares belong to Inter RAO UES .
