Over 6 kilos of Afghan heroin seized from Tajik citizen in Krasnoyarsk

KRASNOYARSK. May 29 (Interfax) - An internationally wanted citizen of Tajikistan has been caught in possession of large amounts of Afghan heroin in Krasnoyarsk, the Russian Federal Security Service's Krasnoyarsk territorial department said on Wednesday.

It said the 33-year-old suspect was detained on the premises of a rented apartment in Krasnoyarsk. More than six kilograms of heroin were found in a cache.

He planned to sell the drug in the Krasnoyarsk city.
