Sibir Airline owners to buy govt stake for 1.133 bln rubles

MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - The S7 Group of Companies has won a tender for the sale of the government's 25.5% stake in Sibir Airlines , bidding 1.133 billion rubles, tender organizer Alfa-Bank said in a statement.

S7 bid 11 million rubles more than the minimum price, which was 1.122 billion rubles or 42.972 rubles a share.

Alfa-Bank said it received four applications from potential investors to bid in the tender. Only three met the qualification requirements: from S7, Evrofinansy-Nedvizhimost LLC and Fondovye Strategicheskie Initsiativy LLC.

Rosimushchestvo has been trying to sell the 25.5% stake in Sibir since 2001, but all of the auctions have fallen through due to a lack of bids. Ultimately it was decided to have the company's chief creditor, Alfa-Bank, organize the tender.

Currently 71.3% of Sibir shares are held by S7 Group, which is owned by Vladislav Filev and his spouse.

Net profit at Sibir increased 25.6% to 546.378 million rubles in 2012 under Russian accounting standards. Revenue was up 23.4% to 55.863 billion rubles.
