Rostelecom starts pre-marketing for 5 bln rubles in bonds, book closes June 6

MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - Russia's national telecom operator Rostelecom has begun pre-marketing for its five-year 16th bond series worth 5 billion rubles, the company reported.

The plan is to place the bonds by book-building, with the book tentatively scheduled to open on June 5 and to close on June 6.

Rostelecom is providing for an annual offer and 182-day coupon period.

VTB Capital, Gazprombank and Sberbank CIB are the organizers.

In March, Rostelecom placed 10 billion rubles in its five-year 19th bond series. Demand was 35% higher than the offer. During marketing, the first coupon rate was set at 8.1% per annum.

Rostelecom currently has eight classical bond issues worth a combined 45 billion rubles in circulation. It also has bonds placed via a conversion of regional telecom issues outstanding.
