Russia, EU sign agreement on drug precursors
YEKATERINBURG. June 4 (Interfax) - Russia and the European Union signed an agreement of drug precursors on Tuesday.
Director of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service, Viktor Ivanov, has signed the document.
"Signing the agreement is a big step in the cooperation of Russia and the European Commission," Ivanov told reporters.
Ivanov said that the document was being composed for four years. The agreement regulates the cooperation of Russia and the EU in preventing leaks of precursors from legal sale. "This is a quality document which will allow implementing it well later," Ivanov said.
"The laid legal basis will allow us holding more joint work," Ivanov said.
