Most Russian oil companies increased production in May

MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - The majority of Russian oil companies increased production in May 2013 in comparison with May 2012, according to the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK).

Bashneft raised the growth rate of its oil production by 1.5 percentage points over April.

Lukoil reduced oil production 0.1% year-on-year in May, reversing a 0.2% increase in April.

Slavneft posted the biggest drop in oil output, a decline of 4% in May following a 3.9% decline in April.

Russneft managed to slow the pace of production declines to 0.6% in May, compared with a decline of 1.3% in April.
