Five kilos of heroin seized from Tajik citizens in Moscow
MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Moscow police have seized five kilograms of heroin from Tajik citizens, Moscow city police main investigative department spokesperson Yelena Molotilkina said.
"Officers of the main investigative department and the Moscow criminal investigation division learned that two suspects, citizens of Tajikistan, bought about five kilograms of heroin from an unknown person. They packed the drug to prepare it for distribution," she said.
The suspects were detained carrying the packed drug on Varshavskoye highway on Monday. A criminal case was opened on illegal drug distribution charges. Accomplices of the suspects, their possible involvement in other crimes and drug supply channels are being studied, she said.
