Russia willing to settle passengers' data passage problem with European Commission - diplomat

MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - Moscow is willing to look for a solution to the problem of passage of passengers' personal data together with the European Union and will receive experts from Brussels to discuss the issue in June.

"We [at a recent Russia-EU summit in Yekaterinburg] reaffirmed our willingness to receive European Commission experts in Moscow in June so as to start talking about this quite difficult issue regarding the passage of personal data and, if need be, to find mutually acceptable solutions, including the conclusion of a special bilateral agreement," Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador Anvar Azimov told Interfax on Thursday.
