Kazakhstan ups industrial output 1.8% in 5M
ALMATY. June 11 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's industrial output grew 1.8% year-on-year in January-May, the State Statistics Agency said.
Mining industry output rose 2.3% and manufacturing was up 1.6%. Power, gas and heat supply fell 0.6%, and water supply was down 9.5%.
An increase in production was reported in 12 of Kazakhstan's 16 regions.
Industrial output grew 0.5% in 2012 and 1.9% in Q1 2013.
