MOSCOW. June 13 (Interfax) - Lukoil will transfer management of up to 250 filling stations to private operators over the course of the next year, company President Vagit Alekperov told journalists.
"Our experiment to transfer 70 filling stations in 11 Russian regions to private operators took 1.5 years and was a success," Alekperov said.
"Two hundred to 250 filling stations will be transferred in the coming year," he said. Lukoil will remain the owner of the properties and of the fuel and other goods sold at the filling stations. The operators will be compensated based on their sales.
