Tax revenues to consolidated budget down 0.4% to 4.56 trillion rubles in 5M - regulator

MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - Russia's consolidated budget saw tax revenues edge down 0.4% year-on-year to 4.562 trillion rubles in January-May 2013, the Federal Tax Service (FTS) reported.

Tax revenues to the federal budget totaled 2.121 trillion rubles in the five months, compared to 2.12 trillion rubles a year ago. Tax revenues to the consolidated budget of the regions came to 2.441 trillion rubles (versus 2.46 trillion rubles in January-May 2012), including 403 billion rubles to local budgets (354.8 billion rubles a year ago).

Corporate profit tax returns for the consolidated budget fell 20.1% year-on-year to 910.3 billion rubles (1.14 trillion rubles a year ago), natural resource extraction tax (NRET) fell 0.5% to 1.04 trillion rubles (1.045 trillion rubles), VAT on goods and services sold in Russia fell 4% to 730.8 billion rubles (761.4 billion rubles), excise on goods sold in Russia grew, by 24.9% to 362.5 billion rubles and personal income tax, which is paid into the regional budgets, rose 12.1% to 913.6 billion rubles (814.7 billion rubles).
