Putin to hold talks in Finland
MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a working visit to Finland on June 25 at President Sauli Niinisto's invitation, the Kremlin press service reported.
During the visit, the parties plan to discuss the implementation of agreements reached at the previous meeting between the Russian and Finnish leaders in Moscow on February 12, 2013 and exchange opinions on the development of bilateral relations, particularly in the trade-economic, investment, energy, and cultural-humanitarian fields.
The agenda of the talks will also include Russian-Finnish interaction as part of Russia-EU partnership, within international organizations and Baltic organizations, in northern Europe, and in the Arctic.
The meeting will coincide with the 60th anniversary of the date when St. Petersburg and Turku became twin towns.
