Central Bank's Ulyukayev hasn't tendered formal resignation notice, says Ignatyev
MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Central Bank of Russia First Deputy Chairman Alexei Ulyukayev has not yet tendered his resignation, CB Chairman Sergei Ignatyev told reporters.
"He hasn't tendered a formal notice," Ignatyev said, adding that he'd heard about Ulyukayev being about to be appointed as Russian Economic Development Minister from the newspapers.
Forbes has quoted sources as saying Ulyukayev would be appointed Economic Development Minister before the end of this week and that the incumbent, Andrei Belousov, would be presidential aide in place of Elvira Nabiullina, who is about to chair the Central Bank.
