Belarus not counting on new EurAsEC Anti-crisis Fund credit - NBB

MINSK. June 19 (Interfax) - Belarus is not counting on a new credit from the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) Anti-crisis Fund, head of the National Bank of Belarus (NBB) Nadezhda Yermakova said.

"There will most likely not be a new program [with the Fund]," Yermakova said Wednesday during a 'direct line' to the editorial staff at Narodnaya Gazeta. "Many countries want to make use of such an opportunity, and the Fund does not have the possibility [of issuing a new credit to Belarus]," she said.

Yermakova also said that Minsk anticipates receiving the final - sixth - tranche of the current stabilization credit before the end of this year.
