Russia provides Transdniestria with mobile intensive care ambulances
MOSCOW. June 21 (Interfax) - Russia had provided Transdniestria with four mobile intensive care ambulances and four more will be supplied until September, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Russian president's representative for Transdniestria Dmitry Rogozin said on Friday.
"We are implementing the decision made by the Russian president on helping our nationals. Other help, cleared with the president of Transdniestria as well as with the Supreme Council and all main political and public forces of the region, will be provided via the non-governmental organization Eurasian Integration," Rogozin said during a video conference.
Alexei Zhuravlyov, Russian State Duma deputy and founder of the European Integration acting on behalf of Russia, said that one of the presented ambulances was a neonatal one.
"All the documents on the ambulances' readiness have been signed and I will sign now the documents for the second batch of mobile intensive care ambulances, which following your order, will be supplied not later than September 1," Zhuravlyov told Rogozin.
The second batch will also comprise four vehicles, Zhuravlyov said.
"Natalia Grigoryevna, do you have any remarks on the first batch?" Rogozin asked Transdniestria's Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Nikiforova.
"There are no remarks, only words of gratitude for the mobility, efficiency and expertise of the Eurasian Integration employees and let me, Dmitry Olegovich, thank you for such serious attention to Transdniestria and to natives living on the banks of the Dniester River on behalf of the president and all citizens of Transdniestria," Nikiforova responded to Rogozin.
