Latest space walk lasted 90 minutes longer than planned - Mission Control

KOROLYOV, near Moscow. June 25 (Interfax) - The ISS-36 crew's latest space walk lasted longer than planned.

"A lot more effort needed to be made this time. The placing of holders for a cable underneath the multirole laboratory module required great physical effort than usual," Alexander Polishchuk, head of the extravehicular activity program, said at Mission Control on Monday evening.

He said the manuevers had been practiced in a hydro-laboratory many times. But in ouster space crewmembers have to choose the position the body individually each time," he said.

"The next space walk has been set for August 15. Fyodor Yurchikhin and Alexander Misurkin will start laying a cable for the multirole laboratory module. And the following space walk will take place on August 21," he said.
