Federal Grid Co. to lease Far East Federal University power facilities on Russky Island

MOSCOW. June 26 (Interfax) - OJSC Federal Grid Company UES (FGC) will obtain a 49-year lease on Far East Federal University (FEFU) power facilities on Russky Island, as per a June 19 government resolution.

FGC will take over 28 transformer substations and 40 on-site, outdoor, and trunk cable grids that are federally owned, without any property deals.

There earlier was a resolution concerning the leasing to OJSC RAO Energy Systems of East of a FEFU heating network for up to one year. After it was leased, the Economic Development Ministry, Energy Ministry, and federal state property fund Rosimuschestvo were given three months' time to submit proposals on using this property as a contribution to Energy Systems of East charter capital in the context of an additional issue by the company.

FGC owns and operates power facilities in Russia's unified national power grid system. OJSC Russian Grids holds a 79.64% stake in the company.
