One dead, two injured in fishermen's shootout in Kolyma
MAGADAN. July 8 (Interfax) - One person died and two were injured in a shootout between fishermen in the Magadan region. The police have opened a criminal case.
Two groups of fishermen had an altercation on the shore of the Shelting Bay in the Ola district on July 7. The altercation developed into a shooting spree, the Russian Investigative Committee's Magadan regional department said.
A 34-year-old resident of Magadan died instantly and two fishermen were injured. One of them is in a critical condition.
The criminal case was opened under Part 1, Article 105 of the Russian Criminal Case (murder). The police are working on the scene of the shootout.
