Vnukovo Airport passenger flow rises 14% in H1

MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - The Moscow-area airport Vnukovo saw passenger flow increase 13.8% year-on-year to 4.790 million travelers in the first half of 2013, a company statement says.

The airport served 2.73 million people flying domestically and 2.06 million flying internationally.

Passenger flow increased 10.3% to 1.08 million fliers just in June, with 553,000 traveling domestically and 527,000 internationally.

The bulk of the carriage on regular flights was provided by the airlines Transaero, UTair (RTS:TMAT), Turkish Airlines, and Lufthansa.

Vnukovo Airport served more than 10 million people in 2012.
