Dvorkovich to head World Grain Forum organizing committee
MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - The second World Grain Forum will take place in Moscow in October, and Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich will head the organizing committee for preparing and conducting it, according to a resolution signed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The forum will take place in the context of Russian Agricultural Industry Week.
The first World Grain Forum was held in St. Petersburg in June 2009. One of its key topics was the intention of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan to form a Black Sea pool of grain exporters to harmonize policy on the global market. However, the decision was never implemented.
